1999 told I had COPD, which was caused by my bad habit of smoking. After research on COPD and reading that my life would be over soon, the smoking went out the window. Damaged was already done, and with 10 years I was on Oxygen 24 hours a day.. could not do anything anymore.. no cooking, cleaning, working or even walking more than a few feet without stopping to rest. In 2012 two weeks before my 62nd birthday, I received the gift of life. I had a double lung transplant. Today, I can jump, run, swim and chase the grandchildren. Life is good :)
